This full-time remote position offers an annual salary of $100,000 to $105,000, reflecting our commitment to providing competitive compensation for skilled professionals. As a part of our community health clinic, you will play a crucial role in delivering person-centered care designed to facilitate healing for clients grappling with mental health and addiction challenges.

About the Organization

At Nurturing Mental Health Center, we pride ourselves on being at the forefront of mental health treatment and education for individuals and families affected by chemical dependency. Our mission centers on creating a safe, serene, and secure environment where clients can begin their journey toward recovery. We utilize evidence-based practices while fostering an inclusive community that values diversity and promotes well-being.

Work Environment

This position allows for the flexibility of remote work, enabling you to deliver therapeutic services from anywhere within Washington State. Our organization leverages various digital platforms to maintain strong connections with both clients and team members. Despite the remote nature of the role, you will be a vital part of a collaborative team that emphasizes communication, professional development, and peer support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive initial interviews and assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and formulate effective treatment plans.
  • Engage in ongoing evaluation of clients by synthesizing bio-psychosocial information gathered from clients, family members, referral sources, and other stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate competencies aligned with current industry standards for chemical dependency knowledge, skills, and professional attitudes.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of various treatment modalities and drug treatment facilities to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Ensure a commitment to client confidentiality, safeguarding all sensitive information according to ethical and legal standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse clientele facing a range of challenges, including mental health conditions and substance use disorders. This role requires a deep understanding of issues faced by different populations, fostering a compassionate approach tailored to the unique experiences of each individual. Your ability to connect with diverse groups will enhance therapeutic outcomes and promote an inclusive healing environment.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in Social Services, Social Sciences, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of two years of professional therapy experience, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic practices, is mandatory.
  • Current licensure in the state of Washington, such as LMHC, LICSW, or LMFT.
  • A strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all aspects of work.
  • A drug-free lifestyle, including no misuse of drugs or alcohol during employment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in community mental health settings, especially within remote health services.
  • Familiarity with integrated care approaches and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices.
Compensation and Benefits

We recognize and value your exceptional contributions to our team. Alongside a competitive salary of $100,000 to $105,000 annually, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance coverage to support your well-being.
  • Flexible scheduling options that respect work-life balance.
  • Generous paid time off to ensure you have ample opportunity for rest and rejuvenation.
  • Professional development opportunities to support your growth in the field.
