Overnight Rancho Penasquitos Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Job Title: Private duty in-home overnight nurse for one patient that requires ventilator management and enteral feedings while asleep.

Schedule: Night shift (~2100-0700); ~7 shifts per month with additional shifts available

as needed; flexible schedule provided quarterly by lead RN.

Location: Rancho Penasquitos, San Diego, CA

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dependable RN/LVN/LPN

(Paramedics, Critical Care Technicians, and Military IDCs/IDMTs with applicable skillset

may also apply). The patient is a fully capable/competent adult male professional with a

tracheostomy that requires in-home ventilator management and enteral (tube) feeding

while asleep. This position requires direct patient care, assessments, vital signs

monitoring, equipment monitoring/adjustment, medication administration, and nursing

documentation in accordance with physician standing orders.

Preferred Experience: Experience with ventilators, tracheostomy care, and enteral

feeding (G-tube/NG tube) is preferred. We provide comprehensive equipment training.

Emergency training/certification in BLS, ACLS, AMLS, or equivalent is preferred.

The ideal candidate must be clinically competent, compassionate, independent, and

committed to providing high-quality care while being discrete and respectful within the

family’s home (2 young children + dog). Strong clinical judgement with attention to detail

and the ability to work independently while maintaining excellent written documentation

and verbal communication is paramount. One-on-one care requires reliability,

punctuality, and professionalism. Sleeping during night shift is prohibited.
