We provide diagnostic imaging and teaching at the primary medical center and collaborate with superb clinical colleagues. Biopsies and other procedures are performed by a separate interventional division. Overnight coverage is provided by a separate emergency radiology division.
The Department of Imaging Sciences at the University of Rochester is a practice of approximately 90 radiologists and 25-30 residents and fellows, and is actively expanding fellowship, research and advocacy programs. Technical highlights include state of the art information technology, 3T MRI, a PET/MRI, Dual Energy CT and digital PET/CT.
