Job description

This opportunity is for a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support inpatient hospital pharmacy operations in a fast-paced clinical environment. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing medication order entry using Meditech
  • Handling medication dispensing with Pyxis automation system
  • Performing sterile compounding procedures according to established protocols
  • Collaborating closely with pharmacists and healthcare teams to support patient care
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and inventory control
  • Working overnight shifts on a 7 on/7 off schedule (9pm-7am), typically Thursday through Thursday
Qualifications:
  • Current Ohio Pharmacy Technician license
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) required
  • Prior inpatient pharmacy experience in a hospital setting
