Job description

Clinical Informatics Analyst

The Essentials:

  • Schedule: Full-time (40 hrs/week) | Monday - Friday | On-site | Exempt
  • Location: Fairlawn, OH 44333
  • Specialties: Clinical / Health Informatics / Information Technology

What You'll Do:

  • Design and maintain clinical quality and operational databases
  • Extract, validate, and analyze clinical and operational data
  • Develop and test clinical measures, metrics, and reporting methodologies
  • Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations for clinical and leadership teams
  • Perform complex SQL queries to support quality initiatives, registries, and regulatory reporting
  • Identify trends, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand workflows and data needs
  • Support audits, compliance reviews, and special projects

What We're Looking For:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Public Health, Data Science, Information Systems, Nursing, or a related field required.
  • Experience: Clinical Data Analyst level: 2-4 years of related experience in clinical data, quality, analytics, or health information systems.
  • Skills: SQL skills and experience with EHRs and data warehouses. Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Licenses/Certifications: CAHIMS or CPHIMS preferred. Registered Nurse preferred
