This position requires overnight production, from 11pm to 7am based out of our
5926 S Kedzie Ave, Chicago, IL.
Summary:
To assure customers' laundry is made with accuracy, timeliness, and within set time parameters. Perform job duties in a safe and courteous manner while maintaining an ongoing production throughout the shift. Adhere to all company requirements.
  • Be in uniform and maintain a good appearance every workday.
  • Adhere to Laundry Ops attendance policy.
  • Keep company equipment clean and organized.
  • Report any mechanical issue to maintenance manager promptly.
  • Follow all universal precautions and procedures while on soil side.
  • Follow all safety procedures.
    โ€ข Know how to use ironing machine
    โ€ข How left heavy laundry bags and push cars up to 500lbs
    โ€ข Experience using a smartphone
  • Requires working overnight production, Monday to Friday 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
  • Maintain a minimum production of 250 pounds per shift.

Qualifications:
Familiar with production.
Be able to lift 50 lbs. and push/pull a wheeled cart of 700lbs.
Able to work in a team environment
Essential Duties:
  • Load and unload linen carts tagging each one accordingly, before and after processing the linen.
  • Keep customers' laundry organized
  • Follow washing orders from customers.
  • Maintain work area clean and orderly manner.
  • Always maintain a neat appearance and professional behavior.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
