Job description

Adecco staffing is assisting a local manufacturing company in Amesbury, MA with their search for a Delivery Assistant! This is a direct hire opportunity with a well-established organization serving customers throughout New England.

  • Schedule/Hours: 5:00 AM until finish, Monday–Friday

  • Pay: $26.00–$28.00/hour

Responsibilities:

  • Assist CDL Drivers with deliveries of chemicals, equipment, and materials to customer locations

  • Load, unload, move, and transport materials safely and efficiently

  • Support warehouse, plant, and material handling operations

  • Assist with chemical transfer pumps, hoses, blending equipment, and related operations

  • Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety procedures

  • Communicate delivery updates and customer concerns to supervisors

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

  • Manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, or delivery experience preferred

  • Basic computer skills

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • OSHA 10, forklift experience, chemical handling, or mechanical aptitude is a plus

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Pay Details: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour
