Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse

IR RN position with D/E/N Rotating Shift Schedule, floating, holidays, weekends, on call/callback and charge per unit needs

This is a fast-paced pre/post interventional radiology department in a level 1 Trauma center. We cater to inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan.

  • Nurses work within a multidisciplinary team
  • Responsible for the pre-procedural preparation of patients and post procedural recovery and overnight observation care
  • Experience with GI post procedural care is preferred but not required

Exciting opportunity for nurses who want to work in the high energy environment of Diagnostic Imaging. We specialize in providing care for patients undergoing CT scans, MRIs, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-ray and ultrasound.

  • Good communication skills, as well as the ability to critically think are essential
  • Team oriented, enthusiastic, flexible and organized candidates preferred
  • Medical/Surgical and telemetry experience preferred

RN responsible for pre/post and 23hr care for IR patients. Care for patients boarding overnight pre or post procedure. BLS and ACLS required.
