Job description

We are seeking a LocumsCertified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a collaborativehospital-based anesthesia team in Winchester, Virginia. This opportunity offersa flexible weekday schedule with no call, no weekends, and a diverse case mixin a supportive 1:4 care team model.

Position Highlights
  • Hospital & Ambulatory Surgery CenterSetting
  • Flexible schedule options:
    • 4 x 10-hour shifts (8:00 AM โ€“ 6:00 PM)
    • 5 x 10-hour shifts
    • 3 x 12-hour shifts
    • 4 x 12-hour shifts
  • Mondayโ€“Friday coverage
  • No Call
  • No Weekends
  • Full-time coverage preferred; providersavailable 2โ€“3 weeks per month will be considered.
Practice Details
  • Collaborative 1:4 care team model withanesthesiologist support
  • Adult patient population
  • No cardiac anesthesia cases
  • Daily Electrophysiology (EP) coverage
  • Limited OB exposure with potential forfuture expansion
  • Case volume varies from approximately 2complex procedures to 15 endoscopy cases per day

Responsibilities
  • Administer anesthesia for surgical andprocedural cases.
  • Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations anddevelop anesthesia care plans.
  • Monitor patients throughout proceduresand provide post-anesthesia care.
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists,surgeons, and perioperative staff to ensure safe, high-quality patientcare.
  • Complete accurate documentation usingEpic EMR.
Qualifications
  • NBCRNA Certified
  • Active Virginia license or eligible forlicensure
  • Minimum of 3โ€“5 years of CRNA experience
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALScertifications (AHA required)
  • Strong general anesthesia skills
  • Spinal and epidural anesthesiaexperience preferred
