Job description

Overnight Loader / Unloader

Location: Norwich, CT
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Overnight Shift | 10:00 PM – approximately 6:00 AM or 7:00 AM, depending on workload

Job Summary

We are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join a fast-paced warehouse team as Overnight Loaders/Unloaders. This position is responsible for picking and preparing customer orders throughout the shift and loading delivery trucks before the end of the night.

Candidates must be comfortable working overnight hours, performing physical warehouse duties, and staying until all orders are completed and trucks are properly loaded for delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Pick and prepare customer orders accurately throughout the overnight shift.
  • Locate products and materials within the warehouse.
  • Verify orders for accuracy and prepare products for shipment.
  • Stage completed orders for delivery.
  • Load delivery trucks safely and efficiently toward the end of the shift.
  • Organize products according to delivery routes and loading requirements.
  • Lift, carry, move, and handle products throughout the shift.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Follow company safety procedures and warehouse policies.
  • Work as part of a team to ensure all orders are completed and trucks are ready for morning deliveries.
Qualifications
  • Previous warehouse, order picking, loading/unloading, or material handling experience preferred.
  • Ability to work overnight from 10:00 PM until all work is completed, typically between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM.
  • Ability to perform repetitive physical work and lift materials throughout the shift.
  • Dependable transportation and consistent attendance are required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately complete customer orders.

This is a full-time overnight opportunity paying $18.00 per hour in Norwich, CT. Candidates must be flexible with the end time of the shift, as employees are expected to remain until all orders are completed and delivery trucks are fully loaded.
