The Room Service Cashier supports an elevated in-room dining experience by providing accurate order-taking, knowledgeable menu guidance, and exceptional guest communication. This guest-focused role ensures seamless coordination between culinary and service teams while maintaining precise billing, tracking, and administrative processes for all in-room dining transactions.

What You Will Do:

  • Take and process in-room dining orders accurately and efficiently in accordance with Loews standards

  • Assist guests with menu selections and provide knowledgeable food and beverage recommendations

  • Upsell items thoughtfully to enhance the guest experience and support revenue goals

  • Monitor order flow to ensure timely preparation, delivery, and follow-up

  • Communicate guest orders, requests, and changes clearly with Culinary and Room Service teams

  • Dispatch servers or bussers for deliveries, guest requests, and tray retrieval

  • Follow up with guests to confirm satisfaction with food quality and service

  • Respond to guest concerns or complaints professionally and with ownership

  • Maintain accurate in-room dining tracking logs and control records

  • Ensure correct billing and posting of all in-room dining and amenity charges

  • Stay informed on menu availability, specials, and out-of-stock items

  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to safety and sanitation standards

  • Regular attendance in conformance with standards

  • May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs

  • Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Your Qualifications Include:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Knowledge of food and beverage terminology; ability to learn and apply upselling techniques

  • Strong guest service skills with excellent telephone etiquette

  • Proficiency with computer systems and office or communication equipment

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
