 Seeking a hands-on Production Shift Supervisor to lead third-shift operations in a high-volume production environment. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who leads from the front, promotes a culture of safety and accountability, and can effectively manage plant operations during overnight hours while serving as the primary on-site leader.

Job Type: Full-Time – Direct Hire
 
Job Duties:
 • Supervise all third-shift production operations with a focus on safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement
 • Lead, train, coach, and develop production leads and production associates
 • Enforce all facility safety policies, PPE requirements, and operational procedures
 • Ensure compliance with quality standards, sanitation processes, and AIB requirements
 • Complete and maintain required production documentation, including shift reports, quality records, wash logs, and cleaning documentation
 • Monitor production goals and implement corrective actions to meet operational targets
 • Manage inventory accuracy and support continuous improvement initiatives
 • Address personnel concerns, operational issues, and plant-wide challenges during overnight operations
 • Partner with staffing agencies to support workforce needs and evaluate temporary employees for potential full-time conversion
 • Support additional projects and operational initiatives as assigned by management
 
Schedule:
 Third Shift – Regular schedule runs Sunday night through Thursday night
• Sunday: 7:00 PM – 6:00 AM
 • Monday–Thursday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
 • Supervisors are expected to remain on-site approximately 30 minutes after shift completion or until all reporting requirements are complete
 • Additional overtime, Friday, and Saturday shifts may be required based on production needs
 
Pay:
 • $60,000–$70,000 annually
 • Additional third-shift premium of approximately $5,000 annually
 • Annual bonus opportunity targeted at 10% of base salary
 
Requirements:
 • 3+ years of supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing environment
 • Previous leadership experience in a high-volume production operation
 • Manufacturing experience with workforces of 25+ employees strongly preferred
 • Experience in food production, food-safe manufacturing, or similar regulated environments preferred
 • Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills
 • Ability to lead by example and actively participate in daily operations
 • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills
 • Ability to make independent decisions while following company policies and SOPs
 • Comfortable serving as the sole member of leadership on-site during overnight operations
 • Bilingual skills are a plus
 • Flexibility to support alternate shifts and weekend operations when business needs require
