Overview:

As a therapist-ownedand operated facility, we give all our clinicians the unique personalattention, mentoring, and career support they need to best serve our patients.
Requirements:
  • Associates of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
  • Current state of Texas licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • 6 months full-time clinical experience
  • Pediatrics experience
  • Home Health experience preferred
  • Must carry valid auto insurance and driver's license.

Responsibilities include:
  • Provides skilled occupational therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders
  • Provides skilled occupational therapy services/interventions in the patients home or daytime facility
  • Schedules supervision visit(s) with his/her supervising OT according to Texas board guidelines
  • Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient
  • Plans for care to meet goals of the occupational therapy interventions
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
  • Enhances occupational therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
