Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA)

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join an employed, full-time daytime position within a well-respected practice at Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Ozaukee Hospital.

  • Collaborative Care Model: Practice within a highly collaborative daytime cohort alongside 2 physicians and 2 fellow APPs, supported overnight by a dedicated Nocturnist physician to ensure excellent coverage and smooth shift handoffs.
  • Practice Setting: Dedicated inpatient rounding with a highly sustainable daily workflow, carrying an average patient panel of 12–14 patients.
  • Balanced Clinical Pace: Manage an average of only 1–3 admissions per day, allowing you the time to focus on high-quality medical management and comprehensive patient care.
  • Optimal Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a highly predictable and flexible 7-on/7-off daytime schedule (10-hour shifts), requiring 168 shifts per year to maintain full-time status.
  • Licensure & Certification: Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant eligible for an unrestricted Wisconsin state license and DEA registration.
  • Lead Inpatient Clinical Care: Partner closely with your physician colleagues to evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic conditions, ensuring every individual receives a clear path toward recovery.
