Overnight Network Programming information

What engineer makes $500,000 a year?

In the field of network engineering, senior roles such as Lead Network Architect or Network Engineering Manager with extensive experience, advanced certifications, and specialized skills can earn salaries around or exceeding $500,000 annually, especially in high-cost-of-living areas or large organizations. These positions often require deep expertise in network design, security, and management, along with leadership responsibilities and sometimes stock options or bonuses.

Will AI replace CCNA jobs?

AI is unlikely to fully replace Network Programming roles requiring CCNA skills, as these jobs involve complex problem-solving, network configuration, and troubleshooting that currently require human expertise. AI tools can assist with routine tasks, but certifications like CCNA remain valuable for understanding network fundamentals and ensuring security. The role will evolve to include managing and integrating AI-driven systems rather than being entirely replaced.

What is the difference between Overnight Network Programming vs Network Technician?

AspectOvernight Network ProgrammingNetwork Technician

While both roles involve networking skills and certifications, Overnight Network Programming focuses on configuring and testing networks during overnight shifts, often in data centers. Network Technicians handle maintenance and troubleshooting during regular hours. The roles complement each other within network operations but differ in scope and work hours.

Is network programming in demand?

Network programming is in high demand as organizations require skilled professionals to develop, maintain, and secure network systems. Jobs in this field often require knowledge of protocols, scripting, and network security tools, with demand driven by increasing reliance on cloud services and cybersecurity needs.

Do network engineers work overnight?

Network engineers often work overnight or outside regular business hours to perform maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting that minimize disruption to network services. This schedule helps ensure network stability and security, especially in environments requiring 24/7 uptime. Flexibility and availability for night shifts are common in this role, depending on the employer's needs and project deadlines.

We are seeking a technically grounded Account Manager to help us grow our customer base in the Rocky Mountain region. This role is based in the Greater Denver area, with a territory responsibility including Colorado, Nebraska, and Wyoming.
Key Responsibilities
As an ACE Account Manager, you will be both a trusted advisor and a proactive connector, aligning our services to the needs of manufacturing customers while developing long-term partnerships across the region.
Business Development and Territory Growth
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts across the territory
  • Engage directly with customer operations, engineering, and technical leadership teams to understand their processes and pain points
  • Collaborate with ACE's engineering and proposal teams to craft solutions tailored to each customer's needs
  • Develop sales opportunities and customer relationships in a manner consistent with ACE's Mission Statement
  • Support project teams throughout the sales and delivery lifecycle to ensure alignment and continuity

Customer Relationship Management
  • Build new relationships through industry networking, event participation, strategic prospecting, and professional connections
  • Identify, qualify, and cultivate new opportunities across key industries, from initial conversation to closed sale
  • Develop and execute territory growth strategies in partnership with regional operations and sales leadership
  • Represent ACE at regional trade shows, professional association meetings, and local manufacturing events
  • Leverage industry insight and emerging trends to guide customers toward high-impact improvements

Account Planning and Sales Execution
  • Lead the development of proposals and project scopes in collaboration with technical resources
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activity and pipeline in CRM
  • Provide accurate forecasts and regular updates to leadership on territory performance
  • Help define annual goals and strategies to support growth objectives in the Rocky Mountain region

Required Experience and Qualifications
  • Engineering background preferred (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related field)
  • Three+ (3+) years of experience in industrial automation, control systems, or OT sales engineering in a customer-facing position
  • Familiarity with leading OT platforms and technologies (Rockwell, Siemens, Emerson, AVEVA, etc.)
  • Knowledge of process industries such as life sciences, chemical, or oil & gas is a strong plus
  • Excellent communication skills and able to lead customer conversations and convey technical value
  • A consultative, value-focused solution-based mindset: you're not just responding to needs, you are helping shape them
  • Comfortable with regular regional travel, including local day trips and occasional overnight travel, to support customer engagement and business development activities
  • Willing to work off-hours when required.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Willing to submit to drug testing and/or background checks as mandated for a) employment, and b) customer contract requirements.
