JOB OVERVIEW

The Quality Specialist-Electrical will be responsible for performing enclosure and electrical inspections of generator and electrical enclosures. This includes supervising third party/customer inspections and delegating tasks as needed. This position will assist with the supervision of shipping necessary enclosure parts on an as needed basis.

ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES (includes but not limited to)

  • Work with panel boards, transformers and distribution equipment.
  • Exhibit ability to prioritize and plan work activities, manage time efficiently and meet objectives to complete projects.
  • Sign off on enclosure and electrical inspection forms.
  • Assist with shipping enclosures, tanks, and parts.
  • Demonstrate teamwork by working well with others, offering assistance, responding positively to constructive feedback.
  • Follow safe manufacturing and material handling practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects to include communication with other Robinson employees to assist with the progress of all projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: minimum 2 – 3 years commercial/industrial experience preferred in addition to experience with panel boards, transformers and distribution equipment. State journeymen or master’s license a plus.
  • Possess working knowledge of NEC electrical codes in addition to NFPA 70-NEC.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Medium voltage and electronics experience

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Travel to other Robinson facilities may be required at times.
