Job description

Description:

JOB PURPOSE: Creates and modifies computer programs by converting project requirements into code. Convert Microsoft Access reports and Crystal 8.1 reports to Intranet Web Server, ASP, C#.NET , or VB .NET reports.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Confirms project requirements by reviewing program objective, input data, and output requirements with IT Director, employee or supervisor.

· Arranges project requirements in programming sequence by analyzing requirements; preparing a work flow chart and diagram using knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, programming language, and logic.

· Encodes project requirements by converting work flow information into computer language.

· Perform or direct revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements

· Confirms program operation by conducting tests; modifying program sequence and/or codes.

· Prepares reference for users by writing operating instructions.

· Maintains historical records by documenting program development and revisions.

· Maintains client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.

· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

· 1+ years experience.NET programming

· Microsoft SQL Server Database

· Microsoft Operating Systems

· Intranet Web Server

· Internet Information Services Knowledge

· Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.

· Must be self-motivated and be willing to take the initiative to get things done.

· Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

· Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.

· Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

· Strong documentation skills.
