Job description

Renew Home Health is hiring a compassionate home health registered nurse in Decatur, Texas. In this role, you bring skilled nursing care directly to patients in their homes. Because home is where healing happens best, your work changes lives every single day. If you want flexible hours and meaningful care, then keep reading.

Why nurses love working at Renew Home Health

We built Renew around the people who make it special — our nurses. As a result, you get real support, real respect, and real balance. Here is what we offer:

  • Competitive pay, paid bi-weekly
  • Flexible scheduling that fits your life
  • Mileage reimbursement and paid time off*
  • Health, dental, and vision benefits*
  • A close-knit team that feels like family

*Paid time off and health, dental, and vision benefits are available for full-time positions.

Above all, we help you grow. Furthermore, we keep your caseload reasonable, so you can focus on your patients instead of paperwork.

What you’ll do as a home health registered nurse

As a home health registered nurse, you visit patients across the Decatur area and deliver skilled care. Typically, your day includes:

  • Assessing patients and updating their care plans
  • Administering medications and treatments
  • Teaching patients and families about their care
  • Coordinating with therapists, aides, and physicians
  • Documenting each visit accurately and on time

Moreover, you work independently while a supportive team backs you up. Consequently, you enjoy both freedom and guidance in the same role.

What we are looking for

First, you need an active Texas RN license. In addition, we look for the following:

  • At least one year of nursing experience (home health is a plus)
  • A valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Strong communication and time-management skills
  • A caring, patient-first attitude

However, if you are a newer nurse with a big heart, we still encourage you to apply.
