Job description

Description & Requirements
St. Luke's Magic Valley Anesthesia Associates seeks a Certified Nurse Anesthetist to join a busy and collegial team. Competitive compensation, incredible benefits package including 16% retirement contribution, 8 weeks' vacation, no primary overnight call. Sign on bonus upon hire. The CRNA is responsible for providing quality health care under the supervision of a designated physician.
• Provide care through diagnosis, clinical judgment and management to restore, maintain, and improve the health status in accordance with practice policies and scope of practice.
• Perform history and physical exams, acute and episodic care, orders pertinent lab and diagnostic studies with interpretation and consultation. Work in collaboration with other members of the health care team in the best interest of the patient.
• Determine appropriate activity restrictions, if indicated.
• Provide health education, counseling, and training to patients, clients, and others as requested and needed.
• Establish and document health care plan and prognosis, maintaining records of each case that are sufficiently complete for any healthcare professional to evaluate and follow treatment plan and subsequent outcome(s).
• Maintain confidentiality in matters relating to patient/family.
• Interact with patients/families with a variety of developmental and socio-cultural backgrounds.
• Provide information to patients and families to reduce anxiety and convey an attitude of acceptance, sensitivity, and caring.
