Summary of Responsibility:

The Preventative Maintenance Technician will have a basic understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to optimally provide scheduled maintenance of CNC production equipment through the use of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment. Duties include but are not limited to.

What You Will Contribute:

  • Daily travel from home to Customer facilities with occasional overnight hotel stays required when servicing remote Customer locations within the designated coverage territory or when participating in remote training programs.

  • Using machine tool manuals, technical documents, internal and vendor resources to research machine parts and service.

  • Staying in sync with safety laws and maintaining a clean, orderly work area.

  • Promoting and performing preventative maintenance on customer machine tool equipment and conducting maintenance training to customer employees.

  • Possessing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines represented by the company.

  • Mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting, and repair of CNC machines.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Current Valid Class D License in good standing

  • 3 -5 years of validated experience within the manufacturing industry. Maintenance & repair and/or a broad shop background – is a plus.

  • Attention to detail with a technical curiosity and strong problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in English verbal and written communication

  • Basic digital literacy and solid understanding of MS Office, Word and Outlook and other business programs.

  • Optimally communicate in person and over the phone with customer and co-workers applying customer relation skills.

  • Must be adaptable to changes and able to take care of change, delays, or general work-related issues.

  • Present a professional image.
