What is an overnight loader?

An Overnight Loader is responsible for loading and organizing goods, products, or shipments onto trucks, shelves, or pallets during nighttime hours. Their main tasks include lifting and moving heavy items, scanning inventory, and ensuring that all products are correctly placed for delivery or stocking. This role often requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision. As an Overnight Loader, your shift typically involves unloading incoming shipments, sorting freight, and loading outbound deliveries according to a set schedule. Work is highly structured to maximize efficiency and safety, often requiring close coordination with other loaders, supervisors, and sometimes drivers.
