Job description

**Please note: This is a part-time, seasonal position located at the Macon Coliseum in Macon, GA for Macon Mayhem home hockey games.**
The Macon Mayhem are seeking experienced Camera Operators. This position will operate a stationary camera for all 30 Mayhem home games. An ideal candidate would know the game of hockey and have experience operating cameras.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Film live hockey action at the instruction of the Game Presentation and Operations Coordinator. Camera operators must be able to creatively frame and capture live action, take direction from the Game Presentation Coordinator, and seamlessly transition between different shots to create a high-quality, professional in-arena broadcast.
• Responsible for detailed player shots, crowd shots, and any other footage as directed by the Game Presentation Coordinator
• Troubleshooting - resolve technical or practical issues as they arise, such as shot focus, shot framing, shot impairment, camera malfunction, or other on-the-go issues that may arise during a live production, plus an ability to take direction on correcting these issues on the fly
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Working knowledge of film equipment preferred, including ability to assemble and positionequipment (cameras, tripods, etc.)
• Experience working on a live-sports production is preferred, but not required
• Must have a flexible schedule, including a willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as applicable with the Mayhem's home schedule
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Must be reliable and exhibit commitment to meeting both the work schedule and job requirements
