Travel the U.S. | Capture Dance Competitions | Professional Equipment Provided
Season: February - June

No Dance Experience Required
If you've filmed sports, live events, weddings, concerts, theatre, or other fast-paced productions, we'll teach you everything you need to know.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Starting at $25/hour
  • Paid travel days
  • Flights, hotels, rental cars and travel expenses covered
  • Professional camera and livestream production equipment provided
  • Guaranteed minimum daily pay
  • Overtime after 40 hours/week
  • Private hotel room
  • No video editing or post-production

What You'll Do
  • Travel to dance competitions throughout the United States
  • Operate professional camera and livestream production equipment
  • Capture high-quality performances
  • Set up and monitor camera and livestream systems
  • Upload and manage event media
Paid Training
Every new Camera Operator receives:
  • Virtual training during January
  • A minimum of two live training events with an experienced Senior Camera Operator
  • Hands-on instruction before working independently

You'll never be sent to your first event without real-world training and support.
Requirements
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States (DanceBUG does not sponsor work visas)
  • Live within approximately one hour of a major airport
  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • Available to travel Thursday through Monday during the season
  • Comfortable driving 5-6 hours when required
  • Comfortable with long production days and travel
  • Able to lift approximately 50 lbs
  • Able to pass a criminal background check

  • Film production
  • Livestreaming (OBS)
  • Multi-camera switching
  • Jib operation
