Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, medication administration tools, and hospital protocols is essential. Outstanding communication, resilience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure help you effectively manage patient care during challenging overnight shifts. Building strong relationships with fellow night-shift staff also helps ensure a collaborative environment and smoother transitions during shift changes. Adapting to the unique pace and workflow of overnight shifts is essential for delivering high-quality patient care.
