Job Summary

The Multi-Purpose Clerk - Night Crew is responsible for a variety of clerk positions, and workers are cross-trained and internally certified for these positions on an ongoing basis. Areas of responsibilities include stocking grocery store shelves, pricing new items, offloading shipment, unwrapping, rotating and packing boxes on an overnight shift. Other duties include order writing, Freshness/Quality (code checking), Item to tag integrity, report all risks or safety issues to management, ensure proper temperatures in cases/coolers, maintain inventory accuracy, and operate check stand. The Multi-Purpose Clerk - Night Crew practices maintaining a clean work area, orderly and free from safety hazards.

Responsibilities

          Receive, stock, display, pricing and face product.                 

          Break down loads including unwrapping, rotating and packing boxes                     

          Order writing, item to tag integrity               

          Report all risks or safety issues to management                   

          Ensure proper temperature in cases/coolers            

          Maintain inventory accuracy             

          Minimal checking on cash register.                

          Sweep and mop sales floor, front end, back rooms, and refrigerated areas.           

          Know location of MSDS binder and information about all materials used during work       

          May operate forklift if authorized and certified.                   

          May operate commercial baler if authorized to compress cardboard.                     

          Perform other duties as assigned      Â
