Summary

The Item Creation and Data Specialist will work with Item Creation team, product managers, and business owners to gather, validate, and document various information to better improve data for the ERP system and daily business functions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Create new whole‐good items in M3 by interpreting OEM spec sheets and converting key data points into CTOS terminology. Ensure complete and accurate population of MMS and CRS panels to support production, purchasing, and sales workflows.

Identify and resolve red‐line errors, attribute mismatches, and issues preventing successful processing of work orders. Use Excel formulas and comparison tools to validate item data against existing records and real‐world product configurations. Collaborate with Product Managers, Sales, and Operations teams to confirm correct attribute values and resolve data discrepancies. Research OEM documentation and internal resources to determine the accurate source of truth for product attributes.

Maintain/update attributes within MMS240 to ensure correct downstream reporting and website representation. Support continuous improvement by identifying gaps in attribute models and recommending updates to improve inventory clarity.

Required

Skills and Qualifications Good information technology acumen that is easily translated and communicated to business users. General understanding of technology as it relates to user interfaces, workflows, cloud, data warehouse, reporting and analytical tools. Excellent Communication Skills Ability to use analytical software to organize and present large amounts of data.

Skills and Qualifications Education - Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year College or university preferred. Work between an office and plant environment with Exposure to varying degrees of temperatures and noise. Ability to travel up to 10% including overnight stays Physical Requirements Sitting, standing, and walking Attendance - The ability to workas scheduled with punctual attendance, Monday-Friday, plus any additional hours/days necessary to meet business demands Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
