Familiarity with specialized equipment such as fluoroscopy, PACS, and catheterization tools, along with experience in sterile technique, is essential. Excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are crucial soft skills in this role. What are some unique challenges faced by an Overnight Interventional Radiology RN, and how can they be managed?

Overnight Interventional Radiology RNs often encounter challenges such as managing patient care with limited on-site resources, responding quickly to urgent or emergent procedures, and maintaining effective communication with physicians and support staff during off-hours.
