These interpreters work remotely or on-site to facilitate communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals and others, using sign language that may be specific to a particular country or region. Their work is crucial in global organizations, international conferences, emergency situations, or customer support roles where communication needs may arise at any hour.
