Mold Operator (Injection Molding)
Location: Saint Petersburg
Pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Shift:
- Monday – Friday
- 3:15 PM – 11:15 PM
- Mandatory Saturday overtime as production requires

What You'll Do
As a Mold Operator, you will:
- Set up and operate thermoplastic injection molding machines.
- Perform mold and tooling changes to support production schedules.
- Monitor machine performance and production quality.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints and production documentation.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
- Troubleshoot equipment and production issues.
- Maintain production materials and inventory.
- Coordinate workflow with machine operators and material handlers.
- Train team members on equipment operation and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and manufacturing procedures.
- Assist with additional production duties as needed.
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum 4 years of injection molding or manufacturing experience
- Experience setting up and operating thermoplastic injection molding equipment
- Ability to perform mold and tooling changes
- Mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance experience
- Ability to read blueprints and inspect parts using measuring tools
- Basic computer and math skills
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Forklift (Hi-Lo) experience or willingness to become certified
Physical Requirements
Candidates must be able to:
- Lift up to 40 pounds (assistance available when needed)
- Stand and walk throughout an 8-hour shift
- Frequently bend, stoop, and reach
- Perform repetitive hand movements and machine setup
- Visually inspect parts for precision and quality
