About Us:

At RELI Group, our work is grounded in purpose. We partner with government agencies to solve complex challenges, improve public health, strengthen national security, and make government services more effective and efficient. Our team of over 500 professionals brings deep expertise and a shared commitment to delivering meaningful outcomes. Behind every solution is a group of experts who care deeply about impact—whether we’re supporting data-driven decisions, modernizing systems or safeguarding critical programs.

The Data Analyst supports performance and quality improvement efforts through the analysis of scorecard, operational, and other performance-related data. The Analyst evaluates individual and team performance data to identify trends, recurring errors, areas of concern, and opportunities for improvement, translating findings into actionable insights for supervisors, leadership, and supporting teams.

The Analyst works closely with supervisors and the Training team to evaluate performance trends, identify potential knowledge or skill gaps, and determine where training or other interventions may improve performance. The position requires strong analytical reasoning, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

The Analyst will also contribute to the development and enhancement of reporting and business intelligence solutions, providing opportunities to apply and further develop skills in tools such as Microsoft Power BI and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Performance & Data Analysis

  • Analyze scorecard, quality, and operational data to evaluate individual and team performance and identify trends, patterns, recurring errors, and areas of concern.
  • Examine performance results across analysts, supervisors, teams, time periods, and other relevant dimensions to identify meaningful trends and potential contributing factors.
  • Conduct recurring and ad hoc analyses to support performance management and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Translate analytical findings into clear conclusions, recommendations, and actionable insights.
  • Apply appropriate quality checks to promote the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of analytical outputs.

Reporting & Business Intelligence

  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, scorecards, visualizations, and other analytical products used to monitor performance and quality.
  • Support the definition and refinement of performance measures, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Use Power BI or similar tools to develop and enhance performance reporting and analytical solutions.
  • Present performance information in clear, accessible formats appropriate for supervisors, leadership, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve or automate recurring reporting, data preparation, and analytical processes.

Performance Improvement & Collaboration

  • Partner with supervisors and team leadership to interpret performance results and identify areas requiring additional analysis or attention.
  • Collaborate with the Training team to identify trends that may indicate knowledge, skill, process, or training gaps.
  • Provide data and analytical findings to support the development or refinement of training and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Evaluate performance data following training or other interventions to help assess effectiveness and identify remaining opportunities for improvement.
  • Distinguish between individual performance issues and broader trends that may indicate systemic, process, or training-related opportunities.

Team & Process Support

  • Maintain documentation for data sources, metrics, reports, dashboards, and analytical processes.
  • Follow established development, quality assurance, and change management practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of analytical methods, performance measures, reporting practices, and team processes.
  • Collaborate with other analysts and functional teams to share findings and support broader analytical initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, performance analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or a related analytical role.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing data and translating findings into meaningful business insights.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience working with moderately complex datasets.
  • Experience developing reports, metrics, visualizations, scorecards, or other analytical products.
  • Ability to identify and communicate trends, patterns, and potential contributing factors within performance data.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively both independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with or demonstrated interest in developing dashboards and analytical solutions using Microsoft Power BI.
  • Experience with Power Query, DAX, SQL, or similar data preparation, transformation, and analysis tools.
  • Experience analyzing quality, performance, workforce, or operational data.
  • Experience supporting performance improvement, quality management, or training-related initiatives.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Automate, PowerShell, or other process automation tools.
  • Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, or other Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Familiarity with structured development methodologies, including Agile or the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience supporting government programs or government contracting environments.
  • Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) or AI-enabled analytical and automation tools.
