About the Role
Sanitation Technicians and laborers are the unsung heroes of food safety. This physically demanding and critically important position ensures our plant is spotless and safe every single day. You'll walk into a mess, and by the end of your shift, you'll leave everything flawlessly clean and ready for the next production run. If you take pride in hard work, precision, and consistency, this is your calling.
You'll be working overnights (3rd shift) in a challenging environment that involves chemical handling, strict food safety protocols, and required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). It's not glamorous-but it is essential.
$22 an hour starting rate! Plus all 3rd shift employees get an additional $2 per hour shift differential in addition to our quarterly bonus.
What You'll Do
  • Deep-clean food production equipment, floors, and facility surfaces
  • Dismantle and reassemble machinery for full sanitation
  • Safely handle cleaning chemicals and follow MSDS protocols
  • Follow the Master Sanitation Schedule and document completed tasks
  • Ensure all cleaning meets GMP, SSOP, and HACCP standards
  • Work independently with minimal supervision-and get the job done right
  • Notify supervisor of safety issues or equipment needs
  • Maintain a positive, team-focused attitude-even when it's tough

Requirements
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • At least 1 year of experience in food manufacturing preferred
  • Previous sanitation or general laborer experience a strong plus
  • Mechanical aptitude: able to safely disassemble and reassemble equipment
  • Comfort working with cleaning chemicals and PPE in hot, cold, humid, or wet conditions
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs, kneel, climb, and stay mobile through your shift
  • Independent mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to work 3rd/overnight shift
