Noor Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Bismarck, North Dakota.

Job Details:
• Work 12-hour shifts with options for days (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM), nights (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM), or day/night rotation based on unit need
• Every other weekend or every 3rd weekend requirement
• 2 holiday shifts required per year
• First to float designation - may float to newborn nursery and pediatrics as assigned
• Level III NICU with 22 beds in an open bed concept with a fishbowl RN station setup
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2-3, up to 1:4 for feeder growers and stable patients
• Common patient diagnoses include RDS, SGA, prematurity, hypoglycemia, hyperbilirubinemia, IUGR, and infants as early as 23 weeks gestation
• No surgical or G-tube placement patients on unit
• NICU RNs, including charge nurses, will attend deliveries under 36 weeks gestation to assist with APGAR scoring
• Must be able to titrate drips including antibiotics, multivitamins, iron, surfactant, TPN, and epinephrine
• RT equipment includes bubble CPAP and ventilators
• Charge nurse present on each shift and does take patient assignments
• Neonatologist coverage during the day with NNP overnight coverage
• Charting system: EPIC
• 2 shifts of unit/department-specific orientation provided
• Hospital-provided scrubs
• Minimum 2 years of NICU Level III-IV experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• BSN not required
• Active state nursing license required for submission

This acute care facility operates a Level III NICU with a strong team of neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners providing around-the-clock coverage. The unit emphasizes a family-centered care approach and values nurses who are active learners, strong communicators, and engaged team players. The facility maintains a supportive environment with charge nurses present on every shift and access to advanced respiratory therapy equipment to support critically ill neonates.
