Job description

A growing fire protection company is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Installer/Fitter to join its team. This is a full-time opportunity for someone with hands-on sprinkler installation experience who is looking for steady work, competitive pay, benefits, and long-term career growth.

Job Responsibilities/Details
  • Install, modify, and repair commercial, industrial, and residential fire sprinkler systems
  • Measure, cut, thread, groove, and assemble sprinkler piping
  • Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications
  • Install sprinkler heads, valves, piping, hangers, and related system components
  • Coordinate with contractors, project managers, and other trades on active job sites
  • Identify installation issues and assist with system troubleshooting
  • Complete work in accordance with NFPA standards, local codes, and company safety procedures
  • Assist with service or on-call work as neede
Qualifications
  • Previous fire sprinkler fitting or installation experience
  • Completion of a sprinkler fitter apprenticeship is a plus
  • Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
  • Experience using pipefitting tools, threading machines, grooving equipment, and lifts
  • Working knowledge of NFPA 13 preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
