OverviewRole Overview

Come join Intuit as a Senior Risk Operations Process Excellence Consultant! This role is a key driver for the process infrastructure within our Fintech Risk Operations organization. You will be responsible for architecting, managing, and optimizing our processes and tools that power our risk operations teams. Leveraging Lean Six Sigma principles, you will transform end-to-end workflows to ensure our Risk Ops organization is scalable, compliant, and efficient.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure & Workflow Redesign: Architect and overhaul the end-to-end Risk Operations workflow, including Underwriting, Fraud, Compliance, and AML reviews.

  • Process Mapping & Ownership: Take complete ownership of the process lifecycle—designing, mapping, and executing new frameworks using Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste and variance.

  • Strategic Communication: Champion the process roadmap to stakeholders and leadership, providing clear data-driven insights on operational impact.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Support multi-quarter initiatives, bridging the gap between technical and business requirements.

  • Solution Development: Partner across the organization to identify, quantify, and prioritize business friction points, developing high-quality solutions that improve operational effectiveness.

  • Continuous Improvement Culture: Relentlessly drive a "Continuous Improvement" mindset, utilizing DMAIC frameworks to refine operations even after initial targets are met.

  • Business Case Architecture: Develop compelling, data-backed business cases that justify infrastructure investments and illustrate the long-term benefits to the customer and the company.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Six Sigma Expertise: Green Belt certification (or equivalent experience) is highly preferred, with a proven track record of applying Lean principles to financial services.

  • Fintech Experience: 5+ years of experience leading operational or process excellence projects.

  • Systems Thinking: Deep understanding of how process infrastructure interacts with Risk/Fraud tools.

  • Strategic Vision: Ability to think long-term and align Risk Operational Excellence initiatives with the broader corporate strategy.

  • Change Management: Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to navigate constant prioritization and resource shifts while advocating for operational needs.

  • Executive Presence: Masterful verbal, written, and presentation skills; comfortable distilling complex process architecture into impactful summaries for executives.
