Job description

National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) IS SEEKING A FIELD AGRICULTURAL ENUMERATOR FOR MAINE.
Description: Conduct interviews to collect data from farmers and agricultural businesses, both over the phone and visiting farms in the field.
Job type: Flexible, Part-time, intermittent. Hourly-rate work
This is a home-based job working flexible hours with farm/field visits.
Requirements:
  • Have a valid driver's license and working car
  • Available for personal field interviews. survey phone calls and drive-by observations of farms
  • Personable with good people, listening and phone skills
  • Organized, able to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Basic computer, IPAD and email skills; training will be provided on proprietary software
  • Flexible to learn new technologies, all training and work submission is iPad based

Agricultural knowledge/experience is helpful, but not essential
Background screening required
Overnight travel to training workshops in future may be required
Seeking hires in all Maine counties.
Hourly rate, paid training and mileage. iPad provided
You will have to pass a background check
