Job description

Laborist Nocturnist (OB/GYN) | Full-Time

Location: Renton

A well-established, not-for-profit healthcare system in the Renton, Washington area is actively seeking a full-time Laborist Nocturnist (OB/GYN) to join its collaborative Women’s Health team.This is a team-based, patient-centered environment serving a diverse patient population, with strong system-wide clinical support and resources.

The organization participates in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program.


Position Overview

• Provide overnight in-house Labor & Delivery coverage
• Manage obstetric triage, admissions, and emergency OB/GYN cases
• Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections as needed
• Provide backup support to Certified Nurse Midwives and Family Medicine OB providers
• Respond to urgent surgical and obstetric emergencies
• Collaborate closely with anesthesia, pediatrics, and nursing teams
• Ensure safe, high-quality maternal and fetal care during overnight hours

This role is ideal for a physician who enjoys high-acuity obstetrics, team collaboration, and focused hospital-based practice without outpatient responsibilities.


Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Eligible for Washington State medical licensure
• Active/Eligible DEA registration
• Experience in high-risk obstetrics preferred, but strong new graduates welcome
