Job description

We are currently seeking energetic, friendly, and professional individuals to join our growing team as Courtesy Patrol Agents (Rovers).
As a Courtesy Patrol Agent (Rover), you play a crucial role in ensuring the security of our community and the safety of our residents and team members. Your primary responsibility is to observe, detect, and report any security concerns to our chain of command. Additionally, your presence and ability to interact with residents and visitors while patrolling the facility contribute to their sense of comfort and well-being.
Shifts: Part-Time/Weekends
Requirements:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a passion for guest service.
• Ability to walk and patrol the property, parking areas, and amenities.
• Ability to actively listen and respond promptly and genuinely to residents' and guests' requests.
• Ability to think clearly and make concise decisions under pressure.
• Professional appearance with a neat and well-groomed demeanor.
• Organizational skills, proactiveness, productivity, and self-motivation with a positive attitude.
• Ability to take pride in the position and property, demonstrating a sense of ownership.
Responsibilities:
• Remain attentive to the surroundings and refrain from engaging in activities that may distract from work.
• Welcome residents with a smile and provide exceptional service, offering assistance whenever possible.
• Anticipate residents' needs and offer assistance to anyone who appears to require it.
• Conduct daily rounds, thoroughly checking all areas of the facility.
• Inspect all entrances, egress doors, man-gates, handicap gates, fire gates, loading docks, and elevators (reporting any elevator issues immediately).
• Regularly monitor gates and doors throughout the shift to ensure safety.
• Respond promptly to facility emergencies such as fire alarms, elevator entrapments, vehicle accidents, smoke complaints, and noise complaints.
• Provide friendly customer service and accurate information to residents and guests.
• Follow directives from the Facilities Manager and/or Concierge Director.
• Inspect all doors and amenity spaces while patrolling the community.
• Reset furniture in amenities to maintain standards and prepare for the next day.
