Shift: Machine Operator Assistant

  • Sunday-Thursday
  • 10 pm-6:30 am

Expected Hours: Machine Operator Assistant

  • 40 Hours
  • Overtime When Needed

Pay Frequency: Machine Operator Assistant

  • Bi-Weekly

Essential Functions: Machine Operator Assistant

  • Assist in the setup of corrugated manufacturing machines under the guidance of the machine operator.
  • Ensure that materials and tools required for machine setup are readily available.
  • Handle and transport corrugated materials within the production area.
  • Support the loading and unloading of materials onto and from the production line.
  • Follow instructions and perform tasks delegated by the machine operator.
  • Assist in conducting quality checks on produced materials.
  • Notify the machine operator of any defects or issues identified during the production process.
  • Communicate clearly to ensure coordinated efforts in the production workflow.
  • Be open to learning and gaining skills related to corrugated manufacturing processes.

 Education / Physical / Requirements: Machine Operator Assistant

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Lift up to 25 lbs. alone and up to 50 lbs. assisted. 
  • Position requires repetitive motion of the hands and wrists.
  • Can complete basic math skills and computer knowledge. 
  • Can read a tape measure in standard measurements.
  • Ability to assist in the setup and operation of corrugated manufacturing machinery.
  • Adherence to safety protocols and guidelines during machine operation.
  • Effective communication skills to ensure smooth workflow.
