Job description

We are currently in search of three Non-CDL 26ft Box Truck Drivers (OTR "Over The Road") meaning at least 2 weeks away from home at a time, or Local (DMV "Washington, DC, Maryland, Virginia").

**Clean driving record, reliable and consistent.

**Must have Electronic Logging Device ("ELD").

**Must have or be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card.

**Must be 25 years of age or over. Must drive with confidence, stay alert, and safe, and work in a fast-paced environment with little supervision.

**Prior experience preferred, but not required.

**Company vehicle will be provided.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive a 26 ft box truck for the company
  • Move cargo from one location to another
  • Handle the business end of a delivery
  • Drive in all weather conditions
  • Palletize boxes, shrink wrap and move as necessary

Requirements:

  • Valid "Class C" Driver's License
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
  • NO ACCIDENTS in the last three years
  • Ability to travel out of state and prearranged overnight trips
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50-pound boxes
  • Properly secure freight for transit by using straps, pads, etc.
  • Use daily electronic log books on tablets that are provided
  • Daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on your truck
  • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time

Employment is contingent upon completing and passing background and MVR checks.
