Position Overview
The Laborer / Bricklayer plays an important role in supporting masonry projects from start to finish. This position involves assisting with site preparation, material handling, masonry construction, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Whether you're an experienced Bricklayer or someone looking to build a long-term career in masonry, you'll work alongside skilled professionals who are committed to quality craftsmanship and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the construction, repair, and restoration of masonry structures
  • Lay brick, block, stone, and other masonry materials (based on experience level)
  • Mix mortar and prepare construction materials
  • Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and materials
  • Set up and maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite
  • Operate masonry tools and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Follow project plans and directions from Foremen and Supervisors
  • Assist with scaffolding setup and jobsite preparation
  • Perform general labor duties as needed to support the crew
  • Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on schedule
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
  • Masonry or construction experience preferred, but willing to train motivated individuals
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Reliable, punctual, and dependable
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
