Overnight Conserje Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Compensation: $19.00-$20.00

Position Summary: The Contract Services Group is looking for a dedicated worker that takes pride in their work and ensures that all the public areas are maintained tidy. As an Overnight Janitor, you will be in charge of keeping all the public facilities in clean condition and promoting a positive friendly image to our guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Overnight Janitor:

• Clean and sanitize hotel public areas including lobby, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and meeting rooms
• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors
• Empty trash bins and replace liners
• To clean and maintain all equipment daily
• Knowledge of various cleaning products and when to use them
• Post caution signs when required
• Knowledge of safety guidelines when working with chemical cleaners
• Responsible for the upkeep of all the equipment used
• Complete deep cleaning projects, as required
• Report any injuries, damage, or missing items to the Public Area Supervisor/Lead

Knowledge and Requirements of the Overnight Janitor

• A commitment to delivering high levels of service with attention to detail
• Strong work ethic Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment at all times
• Knowledge of standard methods, practices, tools, and equipment of the Janitorial cleaning industry
• Integrity and capability to work independently

• Ability to operate and use janitorial tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals
• Ability to perform all duties as required with or without an accommodation
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and machinery
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Be able to work in both internal/external environments
• Available to work weekends and/or holidays
• Must be able to perform physical activities such as lifting, walking, stooping, and handling objects up to 50 lbs.
