THE JOB - Loading Dock Security
We are seeking a Loading Dock Security member who will be responsible for Loading Dock security at the Coca-Cola Roxy who will act as the vital, high-security threshold between the public area and the restricted backstage. Personnel strictly regulate access, verify tour and venue credentials, monitor supply drops, and conduct screening to prevent unauthorized entry.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other persons to maintain security and safety of the premises.
  • Keep records / reports of daily activities and authorized persons entering and exiting the area.
  • Verification of non-credential guests
  • Strategically organize and place authorized trucks, buses, and other vehicles in the dock.
  • Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
  • Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors and gates to preserve safety, order and to protect the venue property.
  • Authenticate and ensure that only authorized vehicles are in secure areas.
  • Warn persons of rule infractions or violations and uphold Live Nation back of house security protocol with all crew and guests.
  • Plus any other duties managers assign
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience required
  • Security/Law Enforcement experience preferred.
  • Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business environment and enforcement procedures.
  • Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance; ability to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy
  • A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs
  • Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs+ and occasional sitting
  • Ability to maintain full attention on post for 8-10 hours, without the use of electronic devices or other distractions, with possibility of late hours
