Job description

Cura of Watkins is seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team for our evening and night (NOC) shift. We are a 5 star CMS rated facility with multiple years of deficiency free MDH surveys. We take pride in the care we provide. Come join our amazing group of caregivers!
In this role, you will provide essential care and support to our patients during our Evening or overnight hours, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Our CNA positions are vital in monitoring patients and assisting with their needs while working collaboratively with nursing and healthcare teams. CNA starting wage: $20.25 + experience!
Evening shift is from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, with a shift differential of $3 more an hour.
NOC shift is from 10:00 pm to 6:30 pm or 6:00 pm to 6:30 am, with a shift differential of $4 more an hour.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care including assistance with activities of daily living such as dressing, and toileting.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff promptly.
  • Ensure patient safety during overnight hours and respond to call lights and patient requests timely.
  • Maintain a clean and safe patient environment consistent with infection control policies.
  • Document patient care activities accurately and communicate pertinent information during shift handovers.
  • Collaborate effectively with the nursing team to ensure continuous, high-quality patient care.

Requirements
  • Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or Enrolled in CNA course (We offer Free CNA courses!)
  • Strong observational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach with reliability and punctuality.
  • Familiarity with infection control standards and patient safety protocols.
