Clinical Services Coordinator – 100% Onsite

Carol Milgard Breast Center | Tacoma, WA

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Location: Tacoma, WA – This position is 100% onsite and is not eligible for remote or hybrid work.
Pay: $20.23–$24.07 per hour, based on relevant experience, skills and abilities

At the Carol Milgard Breast Center, exceptional care goes beyond the exam itself. As a nonprofit, patient-centered breast imaging center, our mission is to provide breast health services to women throughout our community in an environment that fosters confidence, comfort, peace and dignity.

As a Clinical Services Coordinator, you'll be an important part of that experience. Working onsite at our Tacoma breast center, you'll help ensure patients are prepared for their appointments and that our clinical teams have the information they need to provide timely, compassionate care.

What You'll Do

  • Schedule and pre-register patients for imaging appointments.
  • Review upcoming exams to ensure required orders, prior imaging, labs, authorizations and other documentation are complete.
  • Coordinate with technologists, radiologists, referring providers and other clinical staff to resolve scheduling or documentation needs.
  • Manage multiple phone lines, emails and faxes while providing professional, compassionate service.
  • Reschedule appointments and manage waitlists to help maximize patient access.
  • Obtain and coordinate prior imaging and medical records through RIS, PACS and other electronic systems.
  • Provide patients with appointment preparation instructions and other information as needed.
  • Protect patient privacy and maintain HIPAA compliance.
  • Support the clinical team with additional administrative and coordination needs.

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work 100% onsite at the Carol Milgard Breast Center in Tacoma, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a busy, patient-centered environment.
  • Comfort learning and working across multiple computer systems.

Preferred:

  • 1–3 years of medical office or healthcare experience.
  • Experience with patient scheduling, insurance or prior authorization.
  • Medical terminology and/or radiology experience.
  • Familiarity with RIS, PACS, EMR or similar healthcare systems.
  • Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 codes.
