Description
CRHC is looking for a PRN (as needed) Emergency Medical Technician to join our EMS team. This position works 24-hour shifts and provides flexible coverage to support the emergency medical needs of our community. Candidates must be available to work on an as-needed basis, including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as required.
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Responsible for Advancing Exceptional Care by prioritizing Safety and Quality in every aspect of patient care. Requirements
Education and/or Experience
• High School diploma or equivalent required - Required
Certificates, Licensure, Registrations
• Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
o Current EMT certification in the state of Iowa - Required
o Current Class D or higher driver's license - Required
o CEVO or EVOC certification - Required within 6 months of hire

• Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT)
o All required items from EMT
o Current AEMT certification in the state of Iowa - Required

WORK SCHEDULE & SHIFT REQUIREMENTS:
The facility operates 24/7; however, work schedules may vary based on departmental needs to ensure the highest standard of patient care and operational efficiency. Flexibility will be expected.
• On-call availability as needed.
• Weekend and Holiday rotation as needed.
• Eligible for shift differentials where applicable.
• Position is classified as non-exempt and eligible for overtime in accordance with labor laws.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position involves a combination of physical activities necessary to perform essential job functions effectively. The employee should be able to:
