We're looking for a responsible and skilled Ready-Mix Driver to join our team. The Ready-Mix Truck Driver's primary responsibility is to safely operate the concrete mixer, delivering loads to commercial and residential work sites. This role requires navigating a range of conditions, including uneven terrain, and may involve handling and attaching extension chutes weighing between thirty to fifty pounds.
As a Ready-Mix Driver at Cemex, your daily responsibilities will include: safety and compliance, delivery and timing, discharge management, extension chute handling, truck maintenance, customer service, and team coordination.
To succeed in this role, you should bring: a valid commercial driver's license (CDL A or B), a high school diploma preferred, a CSA and MVR record, no DUI/DWI in the last five years, no more than three moving violations in the past three years, strong understanding of safety protocols related to the construction and transportation industry, strong communication skills, knowledge of traffic routes, and basic maintenance skills for truck upkeep (desirable).
