An overnight caregiver provides personal care, supervision, companionship, and support to seniors throughout the night. In this role, you work a night shift to assist clients with all of their overnight needs. Your duties include helping people to the bathroom and with other personal hygiene needs like changing their clothes. You also help seniors get in and out of bed and provide hospitality while they eat breakfast and dinner. You are responsible for supervising your clients closely in case of a medical emergency during the night. You also give support to family members in terms of keeping them updated on their loved one’s health and well-being and providing answers to any questions they may have.
