Job description

Position Summary:
The Overnight Bellman / Butler is responsible for delivering excellent guest service during the night shift, assisting guests with luggage, providing information, and supporting the front desk. This role is paired with the Food amp; Beverage department, ensuring both arrival/departure service, and in-room dining service are seamless

Essential Duties amp; Responsibilities:
  • Welcome late-arriving guests, transport luggage securely, and escort guests to their rooms while explaining room features.
  • Fulfill in-room requests such as delivering extra pillows, towels, ice, or late-night room service orders.
  • Conduct periodic property walks, secure entrance doors, and report any suspicious activity to hotel security
  • Assist the night auditor with tasks such as answering phone calls and coordinating wake up calls.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and ensure timely resolution of service needs
  • Maintain communication with front desk, housekeeping, concierge, valet, and food amp; beverage teams to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive, attentive service
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of guest-facing areas and service stations
  • Uphold luxury Terraces and Drey standards and always guest confidentiality
Requirements:
  • Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for an extended periods
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Attention to customer service with a professional and pleasant personality.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by leaders.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior guest service experience in a hotel environment
