You'll be part of a collaborative, supportive team committed to inclusive, trauma-informed care for all.

What You'll Do

Birth Center, Home Birth & Clinical Care

  • Provide care in birth center, home birth, and clinic settings.

  • Manage prenatal, labor, birth, postpartum, newborn, gynecologic, and reproductive healthcare services.

  • Perform wellness exams, Pap smears, STI testing and treatment, family planning, and contraceptive procedures.

  • Provide gender-affirming hormone therapy (HRT) management and menopause care.

  • Educate patients and families on health promotion, wellness, and informed decision-making.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and appropriate referrals.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Nursing with specialization in Nurse-Midwifery

  • Current Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) certification

  • Tennessee CNM license or eligibility for licensure in Tennessee

  • DEA registration in Tennessee

  • Current NRP and BLS certifications

  • Eligibility to participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs

  • Eligible for malpractice liability insurance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Three (3) years of clinical midwifery experience

  • Experience attending out-of-hospital births strongly preferred

  • Basic ultrasound skills preferred

The ideal candidate is:

  • Passionate about reproductive and social justice

  • Committed to trauma-informed, patient-centered care

  • Skilled at building trusting relationships with patients and families

  • A collaborative team player who values interdisciplinary partnership

  • Eager to expand knowledge and skills across reproductive health services

  • Dedicated to providing respectful, affirming care to all individuals

Schedule & Coverage

Our Birth Center operates 24/7, 365 days a year, and this role supports that mission through:

  • 3 clinic days per week

  • 24-hour on-call rotation

  • Rotating weekend coverage

  • Flexibility for day, night, overnight, holiday, and on-call needs

Work Environment
