As a Customer Service and Logistics Delivery Supervisor, you will be a front-line leader responsible for the day-to-day tactical execution of branch operations and broader Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L) strategies related to both warehouse and delivery operations. You will ensure operational excellence in terms of service, cost, health and safety, quality, food defense, sustainability, and compliance with all legal requirements and internal policies.
You will work collaboratively with key internal and external (third-party logistics vendors) business partners to ensure effective management, timely solutions, and seamless execution across the supply chain.

How you will contribute

You will:

Operational Management & Execution:

  • Manage daily plans, including order/route management and employee performance.

  • Monitor inbound, outbound, co-packing, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure shelf-life management, reduce write-offs, and continuously improve productivity.

  • Oversee inventory management activities, including iDoc management and stock reconciliation, ensuring accurate alignment between SAP and warehouse management systems.

  • Conduct interfaces monitoring, track & trace, claims management, invoice management, and pallets management.

  • Schedule delivery routes and conduct ride-alongs with drivers.

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure strict compliance with HSE, quality, and risk management standards, as well as HACCP guidelines.

  • Ensure compliance with FMCSA Rules and Regulations, including Hours of Service (HOS), DOT breaks, and Electronic Logging Device (ELD) compliance.

  • Promote a strong safety culture, reduce incident/accident rates, ensure successful roadside inspections, conduct DMS meetings, enforce pre- and post-trip inspections, and perform safety audits.

Performance Management & Continuous Improvement:

  • Analyze and verify capacity utilization, performance, and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) monitoring, implementing corrective measures as needed.

  • Drive execution against core KPIs in safety, service, savings, and people.

  • Lead project-related and ad-hoc tasks, particularly those connected to continuous improvement initiatives, tenders, and peak management.

  • Identify supply chain opportunities and participate in Lean Six Sigma projects and other continuous improvement programs.

  • Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration:

  • Work closely with service providers to ensure punctuality, completeness, and quality of deliveries to trading partners.

  • Manage third-party performance, fostering strong relationships and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders and customers.

Financial Acumen & Budget Management:

  • Build and provide full-cost analysis, including yearly budget, risks, and opportunities.

  • Manage the Delivery Labor Budget, approve payroll, and drive the lowest cost per case through productivity plans and loss prevention.

  • Team Leadership & Development:

  • Provide ongoing coaching to delivery drivers, ensuring adherence to standard work processes for the Delivery Pillar.

  • Interview, onboard, and develop direct reports through various formats (classroom, On-the-Job Training, work-with).

  • Coach direct reports on development plans and manage local hourly employees (Union/Non-Union) through coaching, communication, and relationship building.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Primary:Delivery Labor Budget and Financial Acumen, Delivery Efficiencies, Overtime%, Driver Methods %, Driver Performance and Management, Routing and Compliance, FMCSA Rules and Regulations Compliance, Electronic Logging Device (ELD) Compliance.

  • Secondary:Electronic Proof of Delivery (ePOD) %, Pre and Post Trip Compliance, % Handheld Usage, On-Time Delivery, Indirect Hours (non-productive).

Job Specific Requirements

  • High School Diploma (Bachelor's degree is preferred).

  • 3 years of experience as a Delivery Supervisor

  • Experience in logistics operations, procurement, or a broader supply chain function (an asset).

  • Candidate should be comfortable doing ride along frequently.

  • Experience with Microsoft applications, especially highly experienced with Excel.

  • Good knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP R3.

  • Experience with Hours of Service (HOS) Guidelines.

  • Proven experience in the management and development of people.

  • Strong analytical thinking skills.

  • Enjoys teamwork and collaboration.

  • Strong communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.

  • Shift flexibility required

  • Travel Requirements:

  • Travel to Boise, ID facility for three days in a month.

  • It is recommended to have a Commercial Driver's License.

** This role is for our third shift, overnight and onsite**

Salary and Benefits:The base salary range for this position is $77,600 to $106,700; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results. In addition, Mondelez International offers the following benefits: health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays and vacation time.
